I spent 20+ years in construction before most investors I work with bought their first property. Licensed General Contractor. Army veteran, 2003 to 2007. 250+ builds. 40+ rental doors of my own. Married, four kids (which is its own kind of project management).
Somewhere in there, I noticed the same problem showing up on every job site: investors and contractors weren't fighting because one side was dishonest. They were fighting because they were speaking two different languages and nobody was translating.
So I started doing just that. That turned into coaching. Coaching turned into people asking me to just build the thing myself. And building the thing myself turned into other investors asking to put capital behind the projects I was already running.
